 ... kommen manchmal wirklich von selbst, wenn man nur darauf wartet. So wie diese putzige Katze - ein relativ neues Motiv von Mo Manning. Im Online-Shop findet ihr den Digistempel hier: Good things. Meine eigene Katze würde den Käse allerdings lieber selbst fressen, anstatt ihn als Köder zu benutzen. ;-)
Dies ist also meine Karte für unsere neue Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil. Das optionale Thema sind diesmal "Tiere", jedoch könnt ihr natürlich auch jedes andere tolle Motiv von Mo Manning verwenden!

So this is my card for our new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil. This time the optional theme is animals, but of course you can use every fantastic image from Mo Manning you like!

Tausend Sterne * Mo's DP # 246: Warm

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Willkommen zu einer neuen Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil! Unser neues optionales Thema kommt von unserem neuen Teamie Daria. Es soll sich alles um "Warm" drehen, und das kann auf so viele Weisen interpretiert werden: warmhaltende Kleidungsstücke, aufwärmende Getränke, warmes Wetter oder auch warmmachende Aktivitäten.
Und ja, ihr habt richtig gelesen! OPTIONAL! Das heißt, ab sofort sind alle Challenges themenfrei, bzw. das Thema ist "freiwillig".
Beim Durchsehen meiner Digi-Datenbank bin ich auf das Motiv "A thousand stars" gestoßen. Ich wollte es schon immer mal kolorieren und Bella hat in der sternenklaren Nacht einen süßen kuscheligen Sweater übergezogen - passt also zum Thema. ;-) Meine Koloration besteht diesmal aus einem Mix aus Prismacolor Stiften und Twinklings H²O. Letztere habe ich lange vernachlässigt, dabei "malt" es sich so schön mit diesen schimmernden Wasserfarben! Auf dem Foto kommt der sanfte Schimmer des tiefen Nachtblaus leider gar nicht zur Geltung, aber er passt richtig gut zum Sternenhimmel. Die Sterne am Himmel und natürlich den auf dem Pulli habe ich noch zusätzlich mit Stickles hervorgehoben.

Hello everybody and welcome to a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil! Our new optional theme was Chosen by our new teamie Daria. This fortnight it's all about "warm". This can be interpretated in so many ways: warm keeping garments, warming drinks, warm weather, or warm making activities.
And yes, you read correctly! OPTIONAL! This means, from now on all our challenges are "anything goes". You don't have to follow the theme, only if you like to.
While looking through my digi files I came across the cute and versatile image "A thousand stars". I always wanted to colour it and Bella is wearing a cute and cozy sweater during this starry night - thus, it fits the theme! ;-)
This time my colouring is a mixture of Prismacolor pencils and Twinklings H²O. The latter I've neglected for too long, although it's so nice to colour with those shimmering watercolours. Unfortunately the gentle glimmer is not really visible on the photo, but it fits really good to the starry sky.

So, da ist er nun - der Herbst. Schön, das wir im Oktober noch so lange die Sonne genießen durften, oder?

Nun wird es draußen langsam ungemütlicher - die perfekte Gelegenheit wieder mehr Zeit am Basteltisch zu verbringen! Zum Beispiel könnt ihr gern an unserer neuen Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil teilnehmen: mit etwas Spitze, ein paar Perlen und einem Motiv von Mo Manning seid ihr dabei.

Ich mag es auf meinen Karten ja meist nicht so üppig, daher sind die "geforderten Zutaten" bei mir auch auf ein Minimum reduziert - aber sie sind da! ;-) Das Motiv ist diesmal der bezaubernde schlafende Engel "Michael". Ein besonderes Motiv für einen besonderen Menschen zu einem besonderen Anlass.

Hello everbody! Well, he has arrived already - autumn! It was so wonderful to enjoy so much sunny days in October, wasn't it?

But now it's slowly getting more uncomfortable outside - perfect reason to spend more crafting time! For instance you can join our new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil: Just use some lace and pearls and an image from Mo Manning.

As I mostly don't  like my cards that full the "requested ingredients" are reduced to a minimum - but they are existing! ;-) This time I chose the gorgeous sleeping angel "Michael". A special image for a special person to a special occasion.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Da mich Karfreitag Fieber und eine Mandelentzündung niedergerafft hat und ich noch recht schlapp bin, heute nur ein knapper Post zu unserer neuen Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil. Das schöne Thema CAS (schlicht und einfach) kommt von unserer fantastischen Francesca.
Mein Bruder ist umgezogen und zum Einzug hat er von mir natürlich eine Glückwunschkarte bekommen. Für diesen Anlass sind die "Tall Houses" von Mo Manning einfach toll.

My brother has moved houses rececently and of course I made him a greeting card. Especially for this occassion the "Tall Houses" from Mo Manning are really great.

Hallo zusammen! Heute ist schon wieder Donnerstag und ich kann euch eine weitere Karte für die neue Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil zeigen. In dieser Woche ist unsere wundervolle Cathy Challenge-Hostess und sie möchte gern "Vintage" Projekte von euch sehen.
Nun, dieses "auf alt trimmen" ist nicht so meins, aber so ein paar zerissene Ränder passen meines Erachtens ganz gut zu Männerkarten, daher habe ich mich für das Motiv "Mr. Fixit" entschieden. Der perfekt für fast jeden Mann für fast jeden Anlass. ;-)

Well, this "making it look old" is not my fave, but in my opinion some torn edges fit quite well for male cards. So I have chosen the image "Mr. Fixit". He is quite perfect for nearly every man and nearly every occasion. ;-) In this case I made a birthday card.

Hugs&Kisses * Mo's DP # 204: "H" is for ...

Hallo ihr Lieben! Könnt ihr glauben, dass wir nun Oktober haben und tatsächlich schon im letzten Quartal dieses Jahres angekommen sind? ... Schwupp, und schon ist das Jahr schon wieder rum! Trotz der vielen schönen sonnigen Tage merkt man, dass die kalte Jahreszeit unaufhaltsam näher rückt ... *brrr*
Nun aber zur unserer neuen Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil! In dieser Woche machen wir mit unserer ABC-Challenge weiter und inzwischen sind wir beim Buchstaben "H" angelangt. Also bitte zeigt uns auf euren Projekten Dinge, die auf englisch mit "H" anfangen. Klingt erstmal kompliziert, ist es aber gar nicht...
Ich habe z.B. einfach Herzen neben dem Text "Hugs & Kisses" untergebracht. Außerdem trägt die niedliche junge Dame auf meiner Karte (und auch ihre Puppe) einen Hut. Das tolle Motiv heißt übrigens "Thursday's Child". Ich fand es sofort perfekt für meine Tochter, denn sie war vor einiger Zeit das erste Mal auf Klassenfahrt. Diese Karte habe ich mit ein lieben Zeilen gefüllt und ihr zusammen mit ein paar Naschereien als kleine Überraschung ins Gepäck geschmuggelt! ;-)

Hello my dears! Can you believe, that's October now and we actually already have arrived in the last quarter of this year? ... Swoop, and soon the year has passed again! Despite the many sunny days we had you really can feel the cold season approaching irresistibly ... *brrr*
But now onto our new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil! This week we go on with our ABC-Challenge and meanwhile we arrived the letter "H". So please show us things beginning with "H" on your projects. Sounds firstly difficult, but it is at all...
F.i. I simply added hearts besides the sentiment "Hugs & Kisses". In addition the cute young lady on my card is wearing a hat, as well as her doll [thanks Pat! ;-)]. This gorgous image is called "Thursday's Child". I immediatly found it perfect for my daughter, as she was away for her first school trip some time ago. I filled this card with some loving words and bootleged it with some sweet as a surprise into her suitcase! ;-)

Life is... * Mo's DP # 202: Say it with flowers

 Hallo Ihr Lieben, weiter geht's mit einer neuen Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil! In dieser Woche hat sich unsere liebe Cathy ein sehr schönes Thema ausgesucht: "Sag es mit Blumen". Das ist wieder so einfach und vielfältig ... Hauptsache es sind irgendwo Blumen auf eurer Kreation zu sehen. ;-) All die schönen Blumen heben dann vielleicht auch die Stimmung ein wenig. Denn mittlerweile ist es hier gar nicht mehr angenehm, sondern einfach nur kalt und verregnet.

Für meine Karte habe ich ein sehr beliebtes Motiv gewählt: "What's cookin' ". Es ist nicht nur niedlich, sondern passt auch super zu vielen "Weisheiten". Und nette Sprüche machen sich ja auf Karten auch immer ganz gut, oder? Koloriert habe ich wieder mit Prismacolorstiften auf naturfarbenem Karton - daher der etwas dunklere "Teint". ;-)

Hello my dears, let's go on with a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil! This week our very lovely Cathy has chosen a very beautiful theme: "Say it with flowers". This is once again so easy and versatile ... in the main thing you only have to use flowers somewhere on your project. Maybe all those beautiful flowers will lift up the mood a little bit. Because meanwhile it is agreeable at all here, but only cold and rainy.

For my card I chose a very popular image: "What's cookin' ". It is not only cute, it also fits to many  quotes. And nice sentiments just complete a card. Once again I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils on kraft cardstock - this is the reason for the darker "complexion". ;-)

Diesmal habt ihr sogar zwei Wochen Zeit, da das Designteam eine kleine Pause macht. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf eure Ideen. Immerhin könnt ihr euch ja auch immernoch als Gastdesigner bewerben. Isn't she simply gorgeous? I am absolutely thrilled by this image and have the card finished already for so long, as I had to colour the lovely "Joanie" right after Mo has published her. Walking on sunshine * Mo's DP # 187: Summer is coming

Hallo und herzlich willkommen zu einer neuen Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil! Na das ist ja diese Woche ein "heißes" Thema, was? Man muss nur fest genug daran glauben, dann ist es auch bald soweit mit dem Sommer! Auf jeden Fall möchte unsere liebe und super talentierte Kat aus Schottland in dieser Woche den Sommer wenigstens schon mal auf euren Projekten mit mind. einem Motiv von Mo Manning sehen.
Der Inbegriff von Sommer ist für mich irgendwo am Strand zu entspannen und die Sonne zu genießen. Somit habe ich ohne lange zu überlegen die Motive "Little umbrella" und "Beach Elements 1" ausgewählt und zu einer kleinen Szene vereint. Diese Karte hat eine liebe Freundin zum Geburtstag bekommen. Sie reist nämlich gern und viel - natürlich fast immer in warme Gefilde bzw ans Meer. ;-)

Hello and a hearty welcome to a new challenge at  Mo's Digital Pencil! Do we have this week a "hot" theme, or what? You only must believe stongly enough in it, then summer will arrive soon! Anyway, this week our dear and really talented Kat from Scotland would like to see the summer at least already on your projects (with a image from Mo Manning of course).

For me the perfect example of summer is to relax somewhere on the beach and to enjoy the sun. Therefore without long considering I  have chosen the images ""Little umbrella" and ""Beach Elements 1" and combined them to a small scene. This card has got a dear friend for her birthday. She travels with pleasure and a lot - of course almost always in warm regions or to the sea. ;-)

Easter Wishes * Mo's DP # 178: E is for ...

Oh ja, es ist schon wieder Donnerstag! Und außer einem schönen langen Osterwochenende erwartet uns eine neue Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil.
In dieser Woche habe ich die Ehre euch ein Thema zu präsentieren. Ich dachte, es wäre doch nett die ABC-Challenges aus dem letzten Jahr weiterzuführen und somit ist jetzt das "E" dran. Ich möchte also auf euren Projekten also Dinge mit "E" (englische Wörter) sehen. Mir fiel dazu natürlich sofort Ostern (Easter) und Eier (Eggs) ein, dazu habe ich eine Easelkarte mit embossten Ostereiern gemacht. Wer nichts österliches mehr machen möchte kann sich auch einfach an Embellishments, Engineer (Ingenieur), Erde (Earth), Elephant, Edge (besonderer Rand) halten. Euch fällt sicher noch mehr dazu ein, Hauptsache ihr benutzt ein Motiv von Mo Manning! Ich habe für meine Osterkarte das niedliche Motiv "Bella and the Easter Bronte" verwendet. Den Hund Bronte als Hase "verkleidet" finde ich total witzig. Außerdem konnte ich für meine kleine Szene mal wieder mit meinen schönen Stanzen spielen...

Oh yes, it's already Thursday again! And besides a nice long Easter weekend a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil is awaiting us!
In this week it's my turn to be the challenge hostess. I thought it would be fun to continue the ABC-Challenges we startet last year. And so have to do the "E" now. I would like to see someting with "E" on your projects. Of course I first had Easter and Eggs in my mind. And I made an Easelcard with heat embossed Eastereggs. For those who don't want to make sth. paschal, I can suggest Embellishments, Engineer, Eart), Elephant, Edge. I am sure you can think of many more, the main point is to use an image from Mo Manning! For my Eastercard I chose the cute image "Bella and the Easter Bronte". The dog Bronte "disguised" as Easter bunny is too funny. And I had the possibility to use many of my wonderful dies for this little scene.

Lecker Schokolade * Mo's DP # 173: Anything but square

Kann es denn nicht endlich mal wärmer werden? Ich benutze ja schon extra nicht das Wort "Frühling", aber ich wäre schon echt zufrieden, wenn ab jetzt mind. 10 Monate kein Schnee mehr fällt! *lol* Unser  neuer Bloganstrich bringt wenigsten schon etwas mehr Farbe...
Wie auch immer, das Wetter bietet einen guten Grund sich im Warmen und natürlich am Basteltisch aufzuhalten. Denn heute startet auch wieder eine neue Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil! Unsere liebe talentierte Kathleen aus Schottland hat sich für diese Woche  das tolle Thema: "Alles, außer quadratisch" ausgedacht. Also nicht immer nur viereckig denken! ;-)
Statt einer Karte habe ich mich für ein dreidimensionales Projekt entschieden: eine Geschenkbox mit Henkel für eine Tüte Küsschen von Ferrer*o. Um dem ganzen noch etwas Schwung und Rundung zu geben, habe ich für die Front und den Rücken eine Spellbinders-Stanze verwendet. Das Motiv könnte wohl nicht perfekter sein, es ist zuckersüß und trägt den treffenden Namen "Chocolate smile". Ein Anhänger mit einem passenden Spruch rundet das Ganze ab.

Why can it not be finally warmer? On purpose I already didn't use the word "spring", but I would be really happy if at least 10 months from now no more snow will fall! * lol * At least our new blogdesign brings some colour along ...
Anyway, the weather offers a good reason to stay in the warmth and of course at the craft table. Because today starts again a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil! Our lovely and talented Kathleen from Scotland brings us the great theme for this week: "Anything but square". So not only think foursquare! ;-)
Instead of a card, I decided for a 3-d project: a gift box with handles for a box of Ferrer*o chocolates. To give some swing and curvature I used  a Spellbinders die for the front and the back.
