Frisch verheiratet! * Mo's DP # 193: Celebrate Love

Es ist schon wieder Challenge-Zeit bei Mo's Digital Pencil! Für diese Woche durfte ich mir ein Thema aussuchen. Da der Sommer auch die "Hochzeitssaison" ist, denke ich, das Thema "Liebe" ist ganz passend. Dass euer Projekt aber nicht zwangsläufig eine Hochzeitskarte sein muss, zeigen euch ganz eindrucksvoll die Projekte meiner DT-Schwestern. So kann es auch eine Karte zur Geburt/Taufe sein, oder eben einfach mal ein paar liebe Grüße, die ihr jemandem senden möchtet. Es gibt so viele Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten...
Da ich eine brauchte, habe ich eine Hochzeitskarte gemacht und das Motiv "Married" verwendet. Es wirkt so lebendig und fröhlich - einfach perfekt für ein junges frisch vermähltes Paar.

It's already challenge time at Mo's Digital Pencil! For this week I was allowed to choose the challenge theme. And as summer is also known as "wedding season", I think "Celebrate Love" is quite appropriate. But your project does not be necessarily for a wedding, just look at the fabulous cards my lovely DT sisters made. F.i. you can also make sth. for a newborn, or simply some lovely greetings you would like to send to someone. There are so many possibilities ...
As I needed one, I went with a wedding card and used the image "Married". It looks so vivid and cheerful - just perfect for a young newly wed couple.

Um das Geschenk und die Karte auch schön verpackt überreichen zu können, habe ich dafür diese Box zurechtgemacht:

Ich denke das Thema dürfte nicht allzu schwer sein und der Sommer legt -zumindest hier- auch wieder eine kleine Pause ein, also ran an die Basteltische! Achtung Einsatz! * Mo's DP # 192: F is for ... firefighter

Wo ist nur die Zeit schon wieder hin? Jetzt haben wir doch tatsächlich schon wieder Juli und damit die erste Jahreshälfte rum! Na ja, bald ist Urlaub und dann gehen die Uhren hoffentlich etwas langsamer. ;-)

Auf jeden Fall gibt es heute eine neue Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil und wir machen diesmal mit unserer ABC-Challenge beim Buchstaben "F" weiter. Hierzu gibt es sogar viele Wörter, die in deutsch und der englischen Übersetzung mit "F" anfangen, wie zum Beispiel mein kleiner Feuerwehrmann (fireman) und die Flammen (flames). Spontan fällt mir dazu noch ein: Familie, Frosch, Feen und so weiter...
Die Karte ist für meinen kleinen Neffen. Er wird bald schon zwei Jahre alt und steht gerade wie alle kleinen (oder großen) Jungs auf Feuerwehr. ;-) Das Motiv "Playing Firefighter" habe ich auch schon diverse Male benutzt. Dennoch bin ich begeistert, wie unterschiedlich man es immer wieder in Szene setzen kann.

 Were has time only gone? Now we really already have July and so are trough half of the year! Well, it's our holiday soon and hopefully time will move at a different pace. ;-)
Of course we have a new challenge for you over at Mo's Digital Pencil and this week we will continue with the "F" in our ABC challenges. There are even many words starting with "F" in English and the German translation, f.i. the little fireman and the flames. I can also think of family, frog, fairies and so on...
This card is for my little nephew who already turns two in a few days. And like all little (or big) boys he digs fire service. ;-) I already used the image "Playing Firefighter" several times and I am still amazed how differently the card turns out each time.

Ich denke, ihr findet ganz viele "F's" um am am dieswöchigen Challengespaß teilzunehmen und bin sehr gespannt auf eure Ideen. Gloria at the pool* Mo's DP # 191: Fun in the sun

Hallo und herzlich willkommen zu einer neuen Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil! Derzeit passt das dieswöchige Thema leider nicht so ganz zum aktuellen Wetter - und das auch noch am "Siebenschläfer-Tag"! ;-( Vielleicht verhindern ja ganz viele sommerliche Karten, dass wir die nächsten sieben Wochen so einen "Sommer" haben, wie heute! Unsere fantastische Elaine aus den USA hat sich nämlich das schöne Thema "Spaß in der Sonne" ausgesucht.
Meine Karte ist diesmal für eine Freundin, die ihren Geburtstag im (warmen) Auslandsurlaub feiert. Und damit die Karte auch wirklich sommerlich und frisch wirkt, habe ich mich farblich mal auf Neuland gewagt... Anfangs hatte ich ja so meine Probleme den passenden Gegenton zu dem schönen aqua-farbenen Papier zu finden. Aber die Palme im Hintergrund fand ich so toll für mein Motiv "Gloria at the pool", dass ich so lange rumprobiert habe, bis ich mit dem Ergebnis leben konnte. Ich hoffe, ihr könnt es auch! LOL ;-)

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil! At present this week's challenge theme unfortunately doesn't really fit to the current weather - just on the German St. Swithun's Day! Maybe lots of summery cards could prevent that for the next seven weeks our "summer" will be like today! Namely our fantastic Elaine from the US has chosen the wonderful theme  "fun in the sun".
This time my card is for a friend who will celebrate her birthday during her vacation abroad. And in order to make the card really look summery I personally entered uncharted territories concerning the colour scheme. At first I had some problems to find the matching combination for the beautiful aqua paper. But I loved the palm tree in background that much for my usede image "Gloria at the pool", so I tried and tried until I could live with the outcome. And I hope you can, too! LOL ;-)

Beflügelte Geburtstagsgrüße * Mo's DP # 190: Bright Colours

Hallo ihr Lieben! Ist das nicht endlich feinstes Sommerwetter? Ich weiß, viele stöhnen schon wieder über die Hitze, aber wir wollten es doch warm, oder? ;-) Ich kann die Sonner leider gar nicht richtig genießen ... Ausgerechnet jetzt hat mich ein blöder grippaler Infekt erwischt. :-(  Daher fasse ich mich heute kurz und stelle euch schnell meine Karte für die neue Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil vor. Unsere liebe und super talentierte Francesca aus Italien möchte in dieser Woche gern "leuchtende Farben" sehen. Auf meiner Geburtstagskarte für eine kleine Freundin meines Sohns habe ich gleich zwei der neuen niedlichen Baby-Elfen verwendet: "Baby Fairy Bee" und "Baby Fairy Ladybug".

Unfortunately I can't really enjoy the sun... I caught a nasty bug - now, of all times! :-( So I keep it short today and present you quickly my card for today's new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil.Our very lovely and talented Francesca from Italy would like to see "bright colours". I made a birthday card for a little girl friend of my son and even used to of the new super cute baby faries for it: "Baby Fairy Bee" und "Baby Fairy Ladybug".

Ein Danke zum Abschied * Mo's DP # 189: School's out

Oh je, schon wieder ist eine Woche rum! Somit startet heute nicht nur eine neue Challenge bei Mo's Digital Pencil, sondern der Moment des Abschiednehmens rückt unaufhaltsam näher. Mir graut es ja schon richtig vor dem Tag, wenn mein Sohn sich quasi für immer von seinen so liebgewonnenen Erzieherinnen im Kindergarten trennen muss. Aber nun ja, wir blicken auch nach vorn auf die neue spannende Zeit in der Schule und für heute jedenfalls auf die neue Challenge, die sich unser wundervolles Teammitglied Elaine aus den USA sehr passend zur  Jahreszeit ausgesucht hat: "Die Schule ist aus!"
In meinem Fall ist ja der Kindergarten aus. ;-) Aber die von mir verwendeten Motive passen wunderbar zu Schule und Kindergarten: "to school a" ist der Junge und "to school c" das Mädchen. Dies ist dann die angekündigte zweite Karte, die mit dem Abschiedsgeschenk als Dankeschön an eine der Erzieherinnen geht.

Oh dear, once again another week passed by! Thus, not only a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil, starts today, but also the moment of saying good-bye is approaching unstoppable. I already really dread the day my son has to take leave of his much appreciated kindergarten teachers. But well, we look ahead at a new exciting time at school and at least for today at the new challenge our wonderful Elaine from the US has chosen with the very timely theme : "School's out!"
Well, in my case it's the kindergarten which will be out. ;-) But the images I used fit perfectly for both, school and kindergarten: "to school a" is the boy and "to school c" the girl. So this is the announced second card, which will be handed over with some farewell pressies to one of the teachers.

Das Thema lässt euch durchaus etwas Spielraum. Statt etwas schulebezogenem könnt ihr auch genauso ein Motiv wählen, dass z.B. die Ferienzeit symbolisiert. Schaut einfach mal, was meine Teamkolleginnen für tolle unterschiedliche Beispiele gemacht haben.
Aber nicht vergessen: ihr müsst ein Motiv von Mo Manning verwenden um einen Shopping-Gutschein für ihren Onlineshop in Höhe von 5$ zu gewinnen (pro 25 Einträgen wird ein Gutschein verlost).

Of course, this challenge theme gives you some scope. Instead of sth school related you can also choose an image which stands for the summer holidays. Just have look, what wonderful different examples my teamies created.

Hallo ihr Lieben! Es ist schon wieder Donnerstag und sogar schon Juni! Unglaublich was? Bei Mo's Digital Pencil haben wir heute eine ganz besondere Challenge: es dreht sich alles um Kinder!
Zum ersten Mal die Kleinen herzlich eingeladen sind ihre Werke mit einem Motiv von Mo Manning zu präsentieren. Für die Kinder gibt es natürlich extra Preise zu gewinnen! Auf meiner Karte habe ich "Sam in trouble" verwendet. Dieser Blick spricht doch Bände, oder? So ähnlich wird mein kleiner Neffe sicher auch ausgesehen haben, als er bei der "Umgestaltung" der Wände im elterlichen Wohnzimmer erwischt wurde. Seine Mama wird bestimmt ein Déjà-vu haben, wenn sie die Karte von mir bekommt! ;-)

Hello everybody, it's Thursday again and even June! Unbelievable! At  Mo's Digital Pencil we have a very special challenge today: everything is about children!
For the first time all kids are invited to show their craft works with a Mo Manning image. Of course, Mo has special prices for them to win! On my card I used "Sam in trouble". Isn't his glance speaking volumes? My little nephew must have looked alike, when he was caught in "decorating" the walls of the parental living room. I guess his mum will have a déjà vu, when I will give this card to her. ;-)
