Juhu - das Baby ist da!/Yippee - the baby is born

Ich freu mich ja soo sehr für die kleine Familie ... denn am Samstag kam ganz überraschend Katys und Dennis' süßer Sohn zur Welt!
Da muss natürlich gleich ein Kärtchen her, damit ich alles parat habe, wenn die zwei wieder nach Hause kommen. Ohne jetzt im einzelnen darauf einzugehen (es ist ja schon ziemlich spät...), passt die Karte auch zu ein paar Challenges.

I am soooo happy for the small family ... because on Saturday Katy's and Dennis' cute son was born!
Naturally I even need a little card in order that I have everything ready when the two will come home. Without going into detail (it's very late already...) my card also fits to some challenges.

Twinklinks Box

Hallihallo,

nachdem Anja und Andrea (tabeafinja) mir letzens total von Twinklinks vorgeschwärmt haben, konnte ich einer Bestellung nicht widerstehen und habe mir ein paar Döschen gegönnt. Naja, und dann stellt sich ja immer die Frage wohin damit, also habe ich schnell mal für eine kleine Scor-Pal-Box gebastelt. Ich finde die total süss und es freu mich immer wieder sie aus dem Regal zu nehmen. :-)

Geburtstagskarte für einen kleinen Jungen

In den nächsten zwei Monaten werden die kleinen Freunde meines Sohns und auch er selbst 3 Jahre alt. Daher muss ich langsam vorarbeiten und ein paar Geburtstagskarten fertig machen.
Den Anfang macht diese hier, die ich nach dem tollen Sketch von Mo's Guest Spot Challenge gewerkelt habe. Denn als ich dieses Motiv von Mo Manning gesehen habe, wusste ich gleich zu wem es passt ... der kleine Junge sieht genauso aus wie das erste der Geburtstagskinder.

During the next two months my son's little friends and my boy himself become 3 years old. Therefore I slowly have to prefabricate a few birthday cards. The beginning makes this one, for which I followed the fab sketch at Mo's Guest Spot Challenge. At the moment I saw this picture I immediately knew to whom it fits ... the little boy really looks alike the first of the birthday kids.

Feen-Wünsche/Fairy wishes

Noch bis heute lautet das Thema bei Mo's Digitial Stamp Challenge "clean & simple", d.h. nur das Motiv auf weißem Cardstock mit einem Schleifenband, OHNE Layering! Das wollte ich unbedingt mal ausprobieren und eigentlich auch schon viel früher, aber mich hat eine Bronchitis leider aus der Bahn geworfen, dass ich nun so ziemlich eine Woche lang gar nichts machen konnte (und eigentlich auch gar keine Lust dazu hatte).
Ich habe diesmal was (für mich) Neues ausprobiert. Um die Challengeregeln einzuhalten und der Karte trotzdem mehr Leben zu geben, habe ich das Motiv auf der Innenseite und um es sichtbar zu machen auf der Vorderseite ein "Fenster" ausgestanzt. Somit konnte ich die Vorderseite auch embossen, ohne das Motiv zu zerstören...
Bei Stamp with Fun geht es diese Woche um Genähtes. Da ich keine Nähmaschine habe, versuche ich es mal mit "Faux stichting", villeicht zählt das ja auch. ;-)
Mit den paar Farbtupfern passt meine Karte auch zur Challenge von Stempelträume.

Only until today the topic at Mo's Digitial Stamp Challenge is "clean & simple", this means only the image on white cardstock with only one ribbon, WITHOUT layering! I absolutely wanted to try this out and actually much earlier, but unfortunately a bronchitis got me down, so for at least one week I couldn't (and really won't) do anything.
This time I tried out something new (to me). To stick to the challenge rules and nevertheless to give the card more live, I turned the image inside and to make it visible I cut out a "window" on the frontside. So I also could emboss the frontside without destroing the image ...

Dieses Motiv habe ich nicht nur für meine Karte gewählt, weil heute Valentinstag ist, sondern weil es einfach unheimlich süß ist und ich mit dieser Karte zum zweiten Mal bei "Mo's Digital Stamps Challenge" teilnehmen kann. Irgendwie habe ich mich richtig in die tollen DigiStamps von Mo verguckt, die sehen so klasse aus und das Colorieren macht gleich doppelt so viel Spaß!
Für das Layout habe ich das Rezept von "A Spoon Full of Sugar" und den Sketch von "Papertake Weekly" verwendet. Vom Thema her passt die Karte auch zu den Challenges von "Penny Black Saturday" (diesmal ist nur der Spruchstempel von PB), "Simon Says" und "Stamp with Fun", "Cute Card Thursday". Mit den Farben rot, pink, weiß habe ich drei verschiedene Farben zusammen, wie bei der "Stempelträume Challenge" gewünscht.

I didn't only choose this motive because it's Valentine's day today, but also as it's just incredibly cute and I can join in "Mo's Digital Stamps Challenge" for the second time. Somehow I truly have fallen in love with the fantastic DigiStamps by Mo, they look so great and the colouring even brings twice as much fun!
For the layout I used the receipe at "A Spoon Full of Sugar" and the sketch at "Papertake Weekly". Concerning the topic the card also fits to the challenges at "Penny Black Saturday" (this time only the sentiment is PB), "Simon Says" and "Stamp with Fun", "Cute Card Thursday". With the colours red, pink, white I have three diffenrent shades all together, as desired at "Stempelträume Challenge".

Stiftebox zum Valentinstag .../... pencil holder for Valentine Day

Hallo ihr Lieben,

zum Valentinstag habe ich für meinen Schatz eine Stiftebox gewerkelt. Mit Magnolia-Stempeln kann ich ihn nun nicht wirklich beeindrucken, also habe ich mich auf die Suche nach Autostempeln begeben und habe sogar VW-Stempel gefunden. Wie passend, da er ja auch bei VW arbeitet :-)
Ich finde die Stiftebox echt gut gelungen, da sie auch Visitenkarten aufbewahren kann und Post-It's nun immer zur Hand sind.

for the Valentine Day I made a pencil holder for my honey. Now with magnolia-stamps I can't impress him, so I have looked for car-stamps on the internet. I could'nt believe it at all when I have found even VW stamps. How fantastically, because my husband also works at VW. :-)
How do you find the pencil holder? I love it, because there is also a holder for business cards and for post-it's.

die erste aus meinem Geburtsvorbereitungskurs ist Mama geworden und da wollte ich ihr ein kleines Kärtchen basteln. Da ich im Moment nicht selbst sonderlich kreativ bin, habe ich mich einiger Challenges bedient. Ich hoffe aber, dass die Kreativität bald wiederkommt :-) und es nur an derSchwangerschaft liegt. Da wären zum Einen "Spoon Full of Sugar", "Cute Card Thursday" und "papertake weekly". Insgesamt sollte es aber eher ein schlichtes Kärtchen werden.

"Home Tweet Home" - Karte zum Einzug

Da meine Schwester und ihr Mann sich Ende letzten Jahres auch ein Haus gekauft haben, wollte ich Ihnen eine kleine Karte zum Einzug machen. Dafür eignet sich super das niedliche Motiv "Home Tweet Home" von Mo Manning. Eine kleine Premiere für mich: Ich habe zum ersten Mal ein DigiStamp-Motiv coloriert und kann damit auch gleich bei "Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge" mit dem Thema "Holz/Wood" teilnehmen.
Für meine Zwecke fand ich den Sketch von der ersten "Stempeleinmaleins Challenge" total super. Ich liebe ja mein gepunktetes Digi-Papier und um so schöner ist es, dass es zur Challenge von "Cute Card Thursday" passt, da sind diese Woche nämlich "Dots & Spots" gewünscht.

Since my sister and her hubby bought themselves a house at the end of last year, I liked to give them a little card to the move-in. For this the cute motive "Home Tweet Home" by Mo Manning is perfectly suitable. A little premiere for me: For the first time I coloured a digi stamp motive and even can take part with it in "Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge" with the theme "Wood".
For my purposes I found the sketch of the first "Stempeleinmaleins Challenge" really great. I love my dotted digi paper and it's all the better that it also fits to the challenge at "Cute Card Thursday", namely as this week "Dots & Spots" are wished to see.

lange ist es her, dass ich meine letzte Karte gewerkelt habe. Aber heute sollte mal wieder eine fertig werden. Um ein paar Anregungen zu bekommen, habe ich den Sketch von Mojo Monday verwendet und mich an die Stampavie and more-Challenge gehalten, die die Farbvorgaben braun/pink vorgegeben hat.

Happy Birthday in Blau

Bei "Mojo Monday" gibt es diese Woche wieder einen schönen Sketch zum Nacharbeiten und irgendwie war mir diesmal nach hellblau ... nun habe ich wieder eine Geburtstagskarte mehr für meinen Vorrat. Da auch ein gestanztes Herz auf der Karte ist, passt sie glaub' ich auch zur Challenge von "NightShiftStamping". Leider kann man das wunderschöne Glitterpapier auf dem Scan nicht so gut erkennen ... ich habe es lange nur bewundert und dann zurückgepackt - jetzt konnte ich mich endlich mal durchringen es auch zu benutzen...

This week again there is a beautiful sketch over at "Mojo Monday" and this time I felt like light blue ... now I have one birthday card more for my stock. Since there also is a cut heart on the card, I think it fits to the challenge at "NightShiftStamping", too. Unfortunately at the scan you can't really see the wonderful glittering paper ... since a long I only admired it and then always put in back - now I finally brought myself to use it as well...
