Karte zur Taufe/Card to christening

Ich wurde gebeten eine niedliche Karte zur Taufe eines Jungen zu machen. Da ich zu diesem Thema eigentlich gar keinen passenden Stempel habe, ist mir zum Glück das niedliche Motiv von Mo Manning eingefallen, welches es mal als Freebie gab. Auch für den Text hatte ich nix und daher musste leider der Computer herhalten, ich hatte noch nicht mal ne schöne Schrift in meinem Programm ...
Mit dem gestanzten Rand habe ich mal etwas Neues ausprobiert - und es hat auch das "Um-die-Ecke-stanzen" geklappt! ;-)
Mit meiner Karte kann ich an folgenden Challenges teilnehmen:

I was asked to make a card to a boy's christening. Actually I didn't have any stamp suiting to this theme, but thankfully the cute image by Mo Manning came to my mind. Also for the text I can't find anything and so unfortunately I had to use the computer and I didn't even had a nice font in my software ...
With the punched edge I tried something new - and even the "punching-around-the-corner" worked as well! ;-)

Papa's Geburtstag .../... Daddy's birthday

Hallihallo,
mein Papa feiert am Wochenende seinen 60. Geburtstag und da muss eine ganz besondere Karte her. Er ist Naturwissenschaftler, deshalb finde ich, dass der Stempel super passt und Anja hat ihm mir geliehen.
Das Papier im Hintergrund ist bronzefarben, genauso wie die eyelets. Das Leonardo Motiv ist auf Folie gestempelt und dann auf den beigen Hintergrund befestigt.
Die "60" habe ich mit der Cricut auf Metallfolie ausgeplottet.

my dad celebrates his 60th birthday on the weekend and I wanted to make a very special card. He is a scientist and therefore, I think that the stamp fits very well. Anja has lent to me the stamp. Thank you.
The paper in the background is bronze-coloured, just as the eyelets. Leonardo is stamped on foil and the "60" I have plotted with the Cricut on metal foil.

Wish to be big ...

Und wieder eine Geburtstagskarte! ;-) Unschwer zu erkennen, dass sie für ein Mädchen ist ... Ich habe mich für ein weiteres tolles Motiv von Mo Manning entschieden - wie immer total passend! Schön in rosa und mit viel Stickles, als kleines Extra noch etwas 3D-Lack auf dem Schmuck der Kleinen und ein paar Schmetterlinge... - kurz gesagt eine richtige Mädchenkarte!

And again a birthday card! ;-) Not difficult to find out that it is for a girl... I opted for a further great image by Mo Manning - as always totally suiting!
Pretty in pink and with lots of stickles and as a little extra even some 3D varnish on the girl's jewels and a few butterflies... - in short words it's a perfect girls card!

Felix hat zu seiner Geburt so tolle Geschenke bekommen, sodass ich in einer Art "Massenproduktion" Danksagungskarten gebastelt habe. Ich bin wirklich froh, dass sie schon vor der Geburt fertig waren, da sie doch gar nicht so schnell gingen und nun die Zeit zum Basteln mit dem Kleinen sehr beschränkt ist.

da Sonntag der Blog leider nicht funktionierte und ich erst jetzt mal ein paar Minuten Zeit habe, kommt hier meine nächste Karte. Sie ist für einen meiner Lieblingskollegen, der leider unseren Standort verlässt. Auf der rechten Seite sollen dann die Kollegen unterschreiben.
Die Schriftzüge sind mal wieder mit der Cricut auf Klebefolie ausgeplottet. Ich hoffe, sie gefällt euch....

Und noch eine Geburtstagskarte.../And again a birthday card

... diesmal aber für eine kleine Freundin meines Sohns. Am Mittwoch hat er selbst auch Geburtstag und dann bin ich mit den Karten für die "Dreijährigen" durch ;-) ... Bleiben noch die vielen Geburtstagskarten für die Freunde meiner Tochter *puuuh*...
Bei den "Friday Sketchers" gibt es diese Woche wieder einen wunderschönen Sketch, den habe ich für meine Karte verwendet. Für das kleine Mädchen fand ich den PB-Igel mit Geschenk total süß, daher auch die Knopfdeko - passend zur Challenge von "Penny Black Saturday". Und wieder passt auch diese Karte zur Challenge von "Simon Says Stamps".

... but this time for one of my son's little girl friends. On Wednesday he has his own birthday and then I've finished with the cards for the "3-years-old ones" ;-) ... Then only all the birthday cards for my daughters friends have do be done *phew*...
Over at the "Friday Sketchers" you can find a gorgeous sketch this week, which I used for my card. For the little girl I found the PB hedgie very cute, therefore the button embellishment - fitting to the challenge at "Penny Black Saturday". And also this card fits to the challenge at "Simon Says Stamps".
...Think, my English is very bad this evening... sorry!...

Space Explorer

Meine Tochter ist wiedermal zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen, diesmal bei einem Jungen... Aber was mögen Jungs, die 6 werden??? Ich habe ich mal auf Neuland gewagt und mich für das Thema Weltraum entschieden als mir das Papier aus dem "All About Boys" Stack von DCWV in die Hände gefallen ist. Das Motiv habe ich natürlich bei Mo's Digital Pencil gefunden und meine Karte dann gleich auch nach ihrer aktuellen Challenge gestaltet (Schwarz, Weiß, "Craft" plus evtl. weitere Farben). Der Sketch ist diesmal von "Papertake Weekly" und als Karte für ein Kind passt sie auch zur Challenge von "Simon Says Stamps".

Once again my daughter is invited to a birthday party, this time at a boy ... But what do boys like who are becoming 6??? I just tried something new and choose the theme space since I got the paper from the "All About Boys" Stack (DCWV) into my hands. Certainly I found the image at Mo's Digital Pencil and even designed my card according to her current challenge (black, white, craft plus possible other shades). This time the sketch is from "Papertake Weekly" and as card for a child my card also fits to the challenge at "Simon Says Stamps".

Blumentöpfchen .../... flowerpot

da meine Eltern jetzt stolze Großeltern von 4 Enkeln sind, wollte ich Ihnen aktuelle Fotos zu Ostern hübsch aufbereiten. Dazu fand ich Betty's Blumentopf richtig passend. Ich hoffe, er gefällt euch...meine Familie war auf jeden Fall schwer begeistert.

Ballons zum Geburtstag/Balloons for birthday

In ein paar Tagen ist mein Sohn wieder zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen und für den kleinen Kerl habe ich mal wieder meine Penny Blacks rausgeholt. Bei der Challenge von "Penny Black Saturday" sollen Karos verwendet werden und hierfür eignet sich das Papier von DCWV "All about boys" absolut super. So kunterbunt mag ich es ja sonst eigentlich nicht - aber Kindern gefällt es natürlich... Für einen schönen 3D-Effekt habe ich die Ballons mit 3D-Lack überzogen und auch 3D-Klebepads verwendet - was man auf den Fotos aber leider nicht so gut sieht... Der Sketch ist von "Create4Fun" und meine Karte passt noch zur Challenge von "Simon Says" (Distressing) und "A Spoon Full of Sugar" (Karte für Jungen).

In a few days my son is invited to a birthday party again and for the little guy I got out my Penny Blacks once again. For the challenge at "Penny Black Saturday" you should use something checked and my DCWV paper "All about boys" matches very well. Actually I don't really like it that motley - but kids do! ... To get a nice 3D-effect I coated the balloons with 3D-varnish and also used 3D-glue pads - unfortunately it is bad to see on the images ... The sketch is by "Create4Fun" and my card also fits to the challenges at "Simon Says" (Distressing) and "A Spoon Full of Sugar" (card for boys).
