Einfach nur so

 Der neue Sketch von "Retro Sketches" hat mich so angelacht, dass ich mich gleich mal hinsetzen und wenigstens eine Idee umsetzen musste. Allerdings schwirren mir auch noch viele andere Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten im Kopf herum... Heute ist erstmal eine Babykarte daraus geworden. Einfach nur so ein schnelles einfaches Kärtchen ...

I totally fell in love with the new sketch at "Retro Sketches", so that I immediately had to sit down and realise at least one idea. And I have many more ideas crossing my mind. Today I went with a baby card. Just for fun a clean and simple card ...

"Frauchen" hat Geburtstag

Vor dem Urlaub bereite ich mich schon mal auf die nach unserer Rückkehr anstehenden Geburtstage vor. Da wird auf jeden Fall eine Schulfreundin meiner Tochter feiern. Diese Karte wird also für sie sein - wie im letzten Jahr auch diesmal auf Wunsch meiner Tochter mit Hundemotiv, da das Geburtstagskind auch wirklich einen (schwarzen) Labrador besitzt! Bei dem Bild (von Mo Manning) frag ich mich allerdings, wer da wem gratuliert... ;-) Eben typisch Kind: die Vierbeiner werden geknuddelt, was das Zeug hält!

Before being on vacation I already prepare for the birthdays upcoming after our return. There definitely will celebrate one of my daughter's school friends. So this card will be for her - same as last year by request of my daughter it is also this time with a doggy image. The birthday girl also really owns a (black) Labrador! But looking at the cute image (from Mo Manning) ask I me, who congratulates whom... ;-) Just typically child: the four-legged friends are hugged for all one's worth!

Das Rot ist eigentlich etwas gedeckter, wirkt auf dem Foto aber sehr intensiv. Das liegt bestimmt an der schönen Abendsonne, die ich zum Fotografieren ausgenutzt habe....

This red is not that intensive as it actually looks like on the photo. Certainly this may be caused by the nice evening sun which I have used for taking a photo ...

"Mit 40 ...

wird alles schon etwas beschwerlicher!" Diesen Spruch auf einer Geburtstagskarte kann man sich ruhig trauen, wenn man selbst noch nicht so weit ist. ;-) ... Einen guten Freund von uns hat es jetzt "erwischt" und den darf ich auch gern mal ein bißchen ärgern. Darum habe ich nicht nur zahlen- und spruchmäßig aufs Alter hingewiesen, sondern auch noch ein "schönes" Motiv aus dem www verwendet. Es ist ein Radfahrer geworden, da als Geschenk Geld für ein neues Fahrrad gewünscht wurde. Die schweren Augenlider und die Reifen habe ich noch mit 3D-Lack etwas hervorgehoben.

"With 40 everything becomes a little more exhausting already!" This saying on a birthday card you can dare easily if you yourself are not so far yet. ;-)... Now it has "caught" a good friend of us and he doesn't mind me annoying him sometimes a little bit. This is why I have not only pointed out to the age in using a sentiment and the numers, but also in using a "nice" image from the www. It has become a cyclist, because as a present money for a new bicycle was wished . In addition, I have emphasised the heavy eyelids and the tyres with 3D-varnish.

Es darf ruhig glitzern ...

... na das habe ich für diese Auftragskarte doch gleich voll umgesetzt! Es ist ja unschwer zu erkennen, das diese Karte für ein Mädchen zum elften Geburtstag ist. Ihre Lieblingsfarbe ist wohl lila, daher habe ich mich ganz daran gehalten. Die Blüte und Blätter der Rose sind übrigens wieder aus passenden Papierresten (Paper Piecing) gemacht.

It may even glitter ... Well, I think I have completely realised this for this ordered card! Not difficult to recognise that this is a card for a girl for her eleventh birthday. Her favorite colour is supposed to be lilac, so I went with it. By the way, the blossom and sheets of the rose are made again from suitable paper leftovers (Paper Piecing).

Frischer Stempelmix

 Ich brauche am Wochenende ein Geburstagskärtchen für eine Freundin - daher gibt es heute mal wieder etwas ohne Motiv. Für diese Karte habe ich eine ältere Farbchallenge von In{k}spire me als Grundlage genommen und zu den drei verschiedenen Stempelfarben noch vier verschiedene Stempelsets von je zwei Herstellern (SU! und Inkadinkado) aus meinen Regalen geholt und benutzt! Das gab zwischendruch ein ziemliches Durcheinander auf meinem Schreibtisch ... Aber ich habe fertig, muss morgen nur noch mal ein neues Foto machen - das Licht ist blöd. ;-)

Eine kleine Wasserratte ...

 ... - das ist unser Patenkind! Zu ihrem Geburtstag bekommt sie daher auch eine fröhlich bunte Karte mit dem passenden Motiv "Poolparty" von - wie soll's auch anders sein - Mo Manning. ;-) Um das Sommerfeeling zu unterstreichen, habe ich bewusst ein bunteres Papier gewählt und entsprechend coloriert. Nun bleibt mir noch zu hoffen, dass sich der Sommer endlich auch real dauerhaft einstellt!

A real water rat (water baby) - that's our goddaughter. So I made her for her birthday a bright and colourful card with the suiting image "poolparty" from - you can already guess it - Mo Manning. ;-) To underline the summer feeling, I have consciously chosen a more colourful paper and the image colored accordingly.Now I can only hope that the summer also finally appears permanently in real life!

So Jazzed

Nachdem ich mein Farbkonzept für diese Auftragskarte gefühlte 100 mal umgeworfen habe, bin ich letztendlich bei so gar nicht "meinen" Farben gelandet. Und was soll ich sagen ... ich bin sogar recht zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis! Eine liebe Freundin möchte der Leiterin eines Musikkurses im Namen der Kinder ein kleines (Abschieds-)Dankeschön überreichen. Da ich selbst nur eine ziemlich förmliche Geige als musikalisches Motiv im Angebot hatte, bin ich mal wieder bei Mo Manning fündig geworden! Ich finde dieses Motiv passt wirklich gut zum Anlass...

After I have upset my colour draught for this ordered card a felt 100 times, at last I have landed with thus not at all "my" colours. And what I should say... I am even rather happy with the result! A dear friend would like to hand over a small (farewell) thank-you-gift to the leader of a music course in the name of the children. Because I myself had only one quite formal violin as a musical motive in my stash, I have made a find once more at Mo Manning! I think this image fits really well to the occasion...
